Created For Wine is solely owned by Kimberly Messenger of West Kelowna, BC Canada.

The business all began with Wine Havens. Wine Havens were invented by Ms. Messenger in 2009. After many hours of testing designs & fabrics the hand-made product was ready for market. They were initially “test promoted” through a select group of Okanagan Valley companies during the summer of 2010. Their successful launch inspired further product creation by Ms. Messenger. Those additional products are Wine Brellas, Jelly Jackets, and the Wine Lite Collection.

Created For Wine is a unique boutique that promotes our exclusive products along with other unique wine lifestyle items from around the world. Our products range from stemware and corkscrews to giftbags, bottle stoppers and everything in-between.

As a working single mom my world is hectic every day! Trying to find the perfect balance between work, family and personal time is always a struggle. My kids and I focus on positive thinking, creating vision boards and ultimately creating the life of our dreams! My children are directly involved in this company and the innovation behind our products. Our inspiration and motivation as a family is the fuel that powers this operation.

I believe strongly in the power of women entrepreneurs and the force we bring to businesses. I am very proud that Created for Wine incorporates business opportunities for others (consultants) and offers many “give-back” avenues built within our business plan. I know that the more I help others in need – the more successful Created for Wine will be!

We live in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia Canada. We are in the heart of one of two main wine producing regions within our country. Canada is very large in land space but most of that land is not able to successfully house vineyards.

From a global perspective Canada is not referred to as a huge wine producing country. BUT, many of the wineries we do have produce wines that stand to compete against the best wines in the world.

I’m proud of this nation and our beautiful award winning wineries.
I am passionate about wine. Everything about it… the preparation of the vineyard, the planting, the growth, the harvest…
I love enjoying beautiful meals accompanied by the perfect wine pairing.
I love sharing a bottle with a great friend along with great conversation.
I love savoring a flavorful glass of red while I gather my thoughts after my kids are in bed.

My passion for wine is what stemmed the creation of each of my products. They were inspired by wine/life experiences, followed by thoughts, then conversations and finally action.
